Getting the Most out of a Changing Commercial Real Estate Market

The Denver Real Estate market is constantly changing.  While the Denver commercial real estate market seems to have stabilized, finding the right space is still a challenge.  There are many factors to consider in selecting space for your business.  You need to find a location that is appropriate for your business’ operations.  Manufacturing and warehouse businesses have very different space needs than a retail operation or a “white-collar” business such as a law or CPA firm.  Next you need to find a location that will be convenient for both employees and customers.  Law firms may need to locate near the courthouse; a manufacturing firm should consider ease of delivery of their raw materials.  Retail operations need to locate where their customers are.  Choosing the right business location can be a daunting  task.

One of the first rules of business is to focus on the activities that grow your business and make money for you and to hire out those that don’t.  As a business owner or manager, the best use of your time is probably not navigating the intricacies of the commercial real estate market.

This is where a Denver tenant representative comes in.  A tenant representative’s job is to find the right commercial property for your company.  He or she knows the questions to ask to determine the needs of your business.  A tenant representative will be on top of Denver’s real estate listings, aware of changing trends and focused solely on your company’s needs.  A tenant representative will handle the negotiations, assuring you that no important details are overlooked and that you are getting the best deal possible.  A tenant representative may also be able to help you find the services you need to actually make the move. Tenant representatives, such as ProTenant, are exclusive; their business focuses only on tenants and helping tenants find the right space at the right price.

When you decide to place your move in the capable hands of a commercial real estate broker whose focus is representing you, you can turn your attention to running  your business while your broker finds you the right business location.  And that makes great business sense.
